The United States mission in India has approved more student visas in 2021 so far than ever before, said the country’s embassy in a statement. This comes despite the many challenges that people are facing in travelling abroad. As per the US embassy, more than 55,000 students and exchange visitors have or will board planes to study in the United States this year.

The National Testing Agency (NTA), the conducting body of DUET BBA (formerly known as DU JAT), is going to close the DUET 2021 registration process today, August 31, 2021. Candidates seeking admission to Delhi University BBA programme can fill the DUET application form in online mode. Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) will be held from September 26 to October 1, 2021, for admission to entrance-based courses at Delhi University.

After a gap of three days in the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main 2021 session four, National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to conduct the remaining Main session 4 exams from Tuesday (August 31). The NTA JEE Main 2021 Session 4 exam scheduled for August 26, 27 has already been conducted successfully, the remaining papers will be held on August 31, September 1, 2. Candidates appearing for the upcoming exams can download their admit card for JEE Main August exam 2021 from at jeemain.nta.nic.in. This year, the JEE Main Exam is being conducted in four sessions, of which the first 3 sessions were conducted in February, March, and July have already been conducted and the results of which are also out.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the admit cards for National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) 2021 on September 9. Typically, the NEET admit cards contain elaborate guidelines on the exam, some for the prevention of unfair means and, since 2020, another set to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The NTA has already declared the list of exam cities. Students appearing for the NEET 2021 examination can visit the official website- neet.nta.nic.in.

Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka extended the period for filling up online forms of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination 2021. The board in a circular said institutions will have to complete selection of examinees online by August 31 and exam fees must be paid by September 4. The filling up of forms started on August 12 and was scheduled to end on August 30. Earlier, institutions were asked to complete selecting examinees by August 25 and exam fees were to be paid by August 30.

The Nation Board of Education (NEB) has informed that the Grade 12 Board Examinations will be most likely held before October 15. However, the exams will be held only after COVID-19 vaccination arrangements are made for class 12 students. The Board also confirmed that 15 days prior notification will be issued for the students after receiving approval from the COVID-19 Crisis Management Center (CCMC). Last week, the Parliament’s Education and Health Committee has recommended the NEB to conduct the Grade 12 exams promptly, for the repeated postponements would negatively impact the students.

The deadline for applications for the 2021 Advanced Level Examination and the Grade 05 Scholarship Examination has been extended to September 15, the Commissioner-General of Examinations announced. The Commissioner of Examinations informs that the deadline will not be extended thereafter. The Ministry of Education last month announced that the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination will be held on November 14and the GCE Advanced Level Examination scheduled to be held in October 2021 will be held from November 15 to December 10 on the basis of health recommendations.

Students who are on leave of absence and not waiting to be issued a quarantine order will be allowed to sit for the national year-end exams if they regularly test negative for COVID-19. These students will self-test for the coronavirus every two days at their schools or examination venues from their first day of exams until their leave of absence is rescinded, said the Ministry of Education (MOE) and the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB). The national year-end written examinations for key subjects will begin on September 15.
