About the Speaker

Hemant is the Principal Advisor for India Initiatives for the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and works collaboratively across the Darden Enterprise, leading efforts to advance the school’s impact and engagement in India and the region.

In his most recent role before joining Darden, he was responsible for a portfolio of executive education programs run in collaboration with top global business schools including Columbia Business School, University of Cambridge Judge Business School and the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley across different locations in North America, Europe and Asia.
Hemant currently lives and works in Mumbai, India. He lived and worked in London, UK for a few years before moving back to India.

Hemant holds an MBA from the University of Cambridge, Judge Business School. He has worked in different sectors including e-commerce, travel, advertising, higher education, and executive education.
