Sannam S4 CEO Adrian Mutton To Support India’s Export Agenda as a Member of the Core Group on Trade Facilitation, CII National MSME Council

International market entry and expansion services company CEO Adrian Mutton has been appointed to the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Trade Facilitation Group, National MSME Council which has been established to support the Government of India’s Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME). This group will provide a strategic direction and act as an advisory to the Council on issues related to market access and trade policy, both from the Central as well as Regional/State levels.

Mr Mutton will work with CII to develop frameworks that Indian MSME’s can engage and leverage to increase their exports to key international markets. These will include a range of practical measures and policy recommendations for the Government of India to support its exporters.

Mr. Shreekant Somany, Chairman CII National MSME Council and Somany Ceramics stated, “We welcome Mr. Adrian Mutton’s nomination to the Core Group of Trade Facilitation within CII’s MSME Council. Even though we are a national council, we are constantly looking for international expertise. With the Government of India increasingly interested in discovering exports markets for Indian MSME’s, we look forward to working with Adrian to discover new avenues for Indian MSME’s to export to America and beyond”.

Mr Mutton’s first task is an active role in the CII 16th Global MSME Business Summit, held in partnership with the Ministry of MSME, Government of India on the 24th and 25th September 2019 in New Delhi, India. During the Summit Mr. Mutton engaged with Shri Nitin Gadkari, Honorable Minister for MSMEs; Road Transport & Highways, Dr Arun Kumar Panda, Secretary, and Ms. Alka Arora, Joint Secretary, Ministry of MSME, Government of India to discuss ways Sannam S4 can help enhance the contribution of MSME exporters to support Prime Minister Modi’s GDP target. Mr. Mutton will also lead a masterclass at the Summit focused on MSME trade and investment between the USA and India.
