Director For Client & Stakeholder Relations
Sannam S4 Inc., part of the leading and rapidly growing international market-entry and market expansion organization Sannam S4 Group, today announced the appointment of Michael Green as its Director of Client and Stakeholder Relations. Michael joins Sannam S4’s Washington D.C. office, which officially opens on June 6th.
Prior to joining Sannam S4, Michael was a Senior Manager in the Washington D.C. office of the U.S.-India Business Council (USIBC), the premier bilateral trade association promoting increased trade and investment between the United States and India.
In this role, Michael focused on policy advocacy, identifying creative solutions for companies industries looking to increase investment in the U.S.-India commercial corridor. In developing policy strategy for various sector groups and industries, Michael worked alongside private and non-governmental stakeholder groups as well as within the inter-agency and inter-ministerial workings of the U.S. and Indian governments. Apart from policy work, Michael focused on business-to-business connectivity and increasing the profile of his clients in both markets.
“While at USIBC Michael worked closely with Sannam S4 on developing a number of its U.S. India bilateral support platforms with a focus on the U.S. Business Centers and our higher education initiatives. I am therefore delighted to welcome Michael to the firm knowing our clients will benefit from his strategic thinking and real passion for delivering results as they embark on international expansion programs,” Mr. Adrian Mutton, Group CEO stated.
Previously, Michael worked on Capitol Hill and a D.C.-based federal lobbying, government relations, and business consulting firm. He is a licensed attorney in the State of California and received his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law, where he focused on international and corporate law.
“The people-to-people connections between the U.S. and India are the foundation for the future of the bilateral strategic and commercial relationship. Over 110,000 Indian students are currently studying in U.S. institutions, India receives the largest amount of H1B visas, and the commitment from the countries’ Heads of State all demonstrate the strength of the partnership and the belief in its shared future,” said Michael Green, Director, Client & Stakeholder Relations.
“The target is $500B in two-way trade by 2025, from over $100B currently. Large MNCs are leading the way, but participation from the small and medium sized companies will get us across the finish line. I believe Sannam S4’s LaunchPad platform and simplified approach to market entry will provide the assurances needed for U.S. companies to take advantage of India’s young, dynamic, growing consumer and talent base within the framework of the Modi government’s pro-growth initiatives like ‘Make in India’ and ‘Digital India,'” he added.
Sannam S4 operates extensively in the UK, India, China, Brazil, and the UAE and represents and serves over 150 prominent global corporations, universities, nonprofits, and trade associations as they seek to explore, enter and expand internationally.
