WASHINGTON, D.C., On June 27th 2017 Mr. Adrian Mutton attended the 42nd U.S. India Business Council Leadership Summit, for which Vice President Pence was chief guest. Also in attendance were various members of Congress, leading U.S. and Indian government officials and senior executives from corporations from both countries.
The summit highlighted details of the successful visit of India’s Prime Minister Modi to Washington D.C. and the positive engagement he had with President Trump, Vice President Pence and numerous U.S. Secretaries as well as CEO’s from 20 leading U.S. corporations.
The event was attended by India’s U.S. Ambassador to the U.S. Navtej Sarna who spoke about the Indian Prime Minister and his willingness to listen to the U.S. CEO’s during his visit, with the Ambassador saying that his Prime Minister himself operated akin to a CEO, which was a benefit to his country.
In addition to meeting other notable attendees, Mr. Mutton had the opportunity to discuss the progress of Sannam S4’s U.S. Business Centers initiatives with USIBC Chairman and CISCO Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive John Chambers who had delivered a very strong endorsement for the trade, investment and job creation growth potential between both countries during his address to the Summit’s guests. The U.S. India Business Council are a founding partner to Sannam S4’s U.S. Business Center initiative and continue to actively collaborate in encouraging small and medium sized businesses from the U.S. to consider entering and expanding in the Indian market.
