While no single company can put a stop to the Covid-19 pandemic, we at Sannam S4 are doing our part to support communities in India and help mitigate the effects of this disaster.
Five of our offices are located in India and we understand that many people have been severely affected during this trying time. To help those in need, we are making donations to causes by the Taj Public Service Welfare Trust and Zomato Feeding India, information on which can be found below.
Our doctors, nurses, and hospital staff are lifeline throughout this crisis. We are relying on them to heal us and keep us healthy, but it is imperative for them to stay healthy too. Food and medical equipment and supplies continue to be in critical demand for front-line hospital workers everywhere.
In collaboration with the Taj Public Service Welfare Trust, IHCL is working to provide those resources to essential workers in hospitals. Our contribution to this cause will help those helping us so we can recover from this crisis together.
Migrant workers have also been devastated by this pandemic. Many are out of work as the world tries to slow the spread, making it difficult to keep families fed. Zomato Feeding India has launched a campaign called ‘Feed the Daily Wager’ to support these families with a reliable source of food.
Donations will help provide healthy meal kits (each containing enough for a family of five) to families across multiple cities in India. As of this writing, including Sannam S4’s contribution, the campaign is more than halfway to its goal of ₹50 crores, approximately $6.6 million USD.
It is our hope that these donations will lessen the load this pandemic has placed on hospital and migrant workers. With over 200 of our staff located in India, causes such as these really hit home for us. We cannot single-handedly end the pandemic, but we can make it a bit easier to overcome the challenges it presents. If you wish to support these causes alongside Sannam S4, please visit the Taj Public Service Welfare Trust and the Feed the Daily Wager donation pages.
