Sannam S4, a global market entry firm, today announced that its corporate office in New Delhi achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2013, the international standard outlining best practices for Information Security Management Systems. Compliance with this standard demonstrates Sannam S4’s commitment to continuously improving its process-driven and risk-based security program. The management system was inspected by TÜV South Asia, which is part of the TÜV NORD GROUP, one of the world’s largest inspection, certification & testing organizations.
“Between the implementation of GDPR last year and now our ISO 27001 certification, Sannam S4 has consistently demonstrated to its clients and partners, our commitment to ensure that our own data and that of our clients is secured and that there is adherence to a globally recognized standard,” said Adrian Mutton, CEO and Founder at Sannam S4. “For a global service provider like us, it’s important to invest in areas where our clients see real value, and data and information security is certainly one of them,” he added.
Established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the ISO 27001 standard requires the assessment of an organization’s Information Security Management controls for areas such as data security and business continuity. The certification extends to every level of an organization’s IT and administrative infrastructure, including asset management, access control, human resource security, and application security. Sannam S4’s Information Security policies and procedures which are in line with the ISO 27001:2013 standard are already being scaled and deployed across our other offices.
During the certification process and as part of the strategic growth plan to help scale the business, Sannam S4 hired Harish N., as Director of Operations, who will be assuming the responsibilities of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Data Protection Officer (DPO). Harish is a certified Lean Six Sigma professional and a certified Lead Auditor for the ISO 27001:2013 standard.
“Sannam S4 is going through a critical stage of its growth and I am excited to contribute and participate in this journey. As part of our certification and the broader change agenda, we are focused on identifying further opportunities for improvement and executing against them,” Harish said.
“Sannam S4’s commitment to operating at internationally recognized standards reflects management’s focus on this topic and our deep and diverse client base,” said Michael Green, General Manager – India for Sannam S4. “Harish brings nearly two decades of project and change management expertise to us at a time where we are scaling and experiencing high demand for our services. Like many of the clients that we support in growing internationally, we too, are going through the process of expanding our operations and building best practices across our global footprint.”
