Another year, another great week at NAFSA
The annual NAFSA conference draws international educators from around the world together to share new ideas, best practices and tackle pressing challenges in the field.
This year the conference, held in Philadelphia, drew over 9,500 delegates. A team from Sannam S4 including: Adrian Mutton, Lakshmi Iyer, Krista Northup, Doug Sessions, and Chris Elam attended sessions, held meetings, and contributed to the conference theme of “Diverse Voices, Shared Commitment.”
Evolving Recruitment Approaches for India
India is one of the largest source markets of international students. It’s a dynamic, fast-changing, and complex market partly because of its size and diversity. The presenters – all experts on the Indian market – shared strategies to effectively navigate the vast diversity of India.
Along with two of Sannam S4’s long-standing partners, Lakehead University in Canada, and the University of Bridgeport in the US, Lakshmi Iyer, chaired a panel titled “Incredible India: The Evolving Indian Student Recruitment Market.” Attendees of the session came away with timely updates on the dynamic Indian market as well as two case studies to benchmark against.
