Sannam S4 Group CEO Adrian Mutton to Support Core Group on Trade Facilitation, CII National MSME Council

International market entry and expansion services company CEO Adrian Mutton has been appointed to the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Trade Facilitation Group, National MSME Council which has been established to support the Government of India’s Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME). This group will provide a strategic direction and act as an advisory to the Council on issues related to market access and trade policy, both from the Central as well as Regional/State levels.

Mr. Mutton will work with CII to develop frameworks that Indian MSMEs can engage and leverage to increase their exports to key international markets. These will include a range of practical measures and policy recommendations for the Government of India to support its exporters.

“I am honored to be invited to be a member of the Core Group on Trade Facilitation by CII’s National MSME Council,” says Adrian Mutton. “Being actively involved in the trade and investment agendas of many of India’s main trade partners including the USA and UK over the past decade, I am delighted to be sharing this experience to help Indian MSME’s succeed globally. India has some fantastic goods, services and produces to share with the world and such exports by Indian MSME’s will play a vital role in contributing to Prime Minister Modi’s ambition of India becoming a $5 trillion economy by 2024,” says Mutton

Mr. Shreekant Somany, Chairman CII National MSME Council and Somany Ceramics stated, “We welcome Mr. Adrian Mutton’s nomination to the Core Group of Trade Facilitation within CII’s MSME Council. Even though we are a national council, we are constantly looking for international expertise. Mr Mutton’s first task is an active role in the CII 16th Global MSME Business Summit, held in partnership with the Ministry of MSME, Government of India on the 24th and 25th September 2019 in New Delhi, India. During the Summit Mr. Mutton engaged with Shri Nitin Gadkari, Honorable Minister for MSMEs; Road Transport & Highways, Dr Arun Kumar Panda, Secretary, and Ms. Alka Arora, Joint Secretary, Ministry of MSME, Government of India to discuss ways Sannam S4 can help enhance the contribution of MSME exporters to support Prime Minister Modi’s GDP target. Mr. Mutton will also lead a masterclass at the Summit focused on MSME trade and investment between the USA and India.
